I am shocked that this show is still on the air! The writing is terrible. Always ripped-off, never anything new. The acting is mediocre, no great performances. The actors don't have much to work with but I'd think they could do better. The action scenes are poorly put together like a 70's kung-fu flick, no realistic sequencing and too much motion altering! After a few episodes I got sick of the outfits for Garner. In scenes were she needed to stay hidden, she wore neon colors and reflective studded clothes! It's less believable than James Bond folks. At least Bond was funny at times, Alias is a stinker!
Alias is, without reservation, the best network series in years. It's packed with action, interesting characters and plots that will hold your attention from beginning to end.<br/><br/>Jennifer Garner ('Sydney') is everything a female double-agent should be: gorgeous, tough, intelligent and ready to handle any mission 'impossible'. Yet, she's not afraid to display her human side with wit, emotion and occasional anger. The CIA could use a few dozen agents like her … especially now!<br/><br/>In short, I like everything about 'Alias': always a great music soundtrack, movie-quality production values, excellent cinematography, engrossing stories, action and fun!

Jack never said he was dead when alone is one of many.<br/><br/>In the episode "Horizon" the phrase "We always find each other" is even said several times between Sydney and Vaughn which to many suggested that the two would find each other again. This of course would mean that Vaughn was really not dead at all.<br/><br/>As for why Sydney was so sad after Vaughn "died" that can be explained by the fact that he was gone. She was pregnant and the man she loved, the father of her child, could not be a part of it. His life was in danger and she had to figure out a way to bring down Prophet 5 so it would be safe for Vaughn to return once he recovered AND go through her pregnancy, which should have been a truly happy time, alone. Being without Vaughn at that time was hard for Sydney, especially since she did not know when she would be able to see him again.<br/><br/>The fact that Jack and Sydney faked Vaughn's death was revealed at the
